Keystone Dressage & Combined Training Association

Promoting Dressage & CT in Central Pennsylvania

Volunteers are the key to a great show.  We always welcome any help for show set up (Friday evening prior to show) AND tear down directly after the last ride. Check out the info below and contact Tyra for more info tyraw81@hotmail.com

Show day jobs include (but not limited to):

1.       Runners for dressage tests

2.       Scribes

3.       Scoring and ribbons for dressage ring

4.       Runner for announcers' booth to update hunter entries.

5.       Announcers

6.       Stall check-in help

Please consider volunteering your skills and time to help during the KDCTA shows.

Below are the rules to consider when volunteering:

  • The volunteer will reserve and pay for a stall per usual.  The stall check must be a separate check from the other entry costs.  The volunteer must notify the show secretary of his/her intent to earn the free stall on their entry form.
  • The volunteer must work either during set up or during clean up and serve a shift during the show.
  • Sign-in sheet will be at the registration area and will serve as documentation of work completed.
  • Upon verification for completing the work, the show secretary will destroy the original stall fee check.
  • Only one free stall allowed per family.
  • The Penn State Dressage Team is receiving a donation for their time, therefore team members are not eligible for free stalls.
  • Anyone volunteering on show day and working for a shift will receive a $5 voucher at the food stand.

Thank you to all who have volunteered in the past and for everyone who will in the future!
